Marsh mallow, or Althea officinalis, is a flower that is as delicate as it is important for the skin. Thanks to the rich presence of mucilage, its extract tends to form a thin protective, moisturizing, and emollient layer of film on the skin.
Rosa canina, commonly known as dog rose, occupies a prominent place in phytocosmetics, thanks to its flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols, fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin E, and linoleic acid, which confer an effective antioxidant action.
