Our complete SUNSCREEN line is developed with highly environmentally-friendly formulations, rich in naturally protective plant ingredients, with important skin protection factors that include UVA, UVB, and blue light.
The main ingredients in our sunscreens are:
- Karanja oil, native to India and rich in extraordinary properties, which is extracted from cold-pressing the seeds of the pongam tree. This oil is very rich in antioxidant molecules that help protect the skin from external aggressions, such as from sunrays, and have the remarkable ability to absorb part of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays;
- Organic white grape extract is rich in beneficial substances and nutrients, as well as minerals, anthocyanins, flavonoids, polyphenols, and vitamins. Known for its antioxidant properties, it also exerts a strong action against free radicals that cause premature skin aging;
- Tyrosol, derived from olive trees, has powerful antioxidant and antiradical properties and is a key ingredient with a protective effect against UVB solar radiation, recently studied and proven as being able to protect against blue light and the oxidative stress it causes;
- Organic shea butter, with special softening and nourishing properties, which softens skin, restores and preserves its function as a natural physical barrier;
- Organic Aloe Vera juice, rich in polysaccharides. Recent studies have proven its moisturizing and protective efficacy, thanks to its reepithelialization and soothing properties;
- Reef-friendly zinc oxide, which has been specially studied in particle size and for its physical characteristics, in order to ensure maximum safety in terms of sun protection and maximum compatibility with the marine ecosystem. In fact, our sunscreens have been selected for the POSITIVE REEF INITIATIVE project, which studies environmental interaction and interaction with marine fauna, as well as how to protect and consciously manage it through sustainable choices, such as the use of sunscreens that do not contain harmful and non-compatible ingredients, like chemically- or synthetically-derived filters do.
