Organic Wild Mint Essential Oil

Organic wild mint essential oil is obtained from the whole plant, which is harvested during the blooming period, and undergoes steam distillation. It has a fresh, mentholated, herbaceous scent, with sweet-balsamic tones. Organic wild mint (Mentha arvensis) essential oil  stimulates the nervous system, granting relief for both physical and mental fatigue. It promotes concentration and helps with insomnia and general fatigue.

Wild mint essential oil also has disinfecting, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also used as a toner and astringent to purify the skin or in treating acne, congested skin, eczema, and dermatosis. Its use in a diffuser releases a pleasant and fresh fragrance, with expectorant, disinfecting, soothing, and relaxing effects.

Organic wild mint essential oil, like the entire line of Sapone di un Tempo essential oils, can be mixed with other oils, for a more specific result or for specific problems.

Caution: Not to be used during pregnancy and in children under three years of age. It is irritating for  mucous membranes. Dilute before use. Do not apply to large areas of skin, in order to prevent a "chilling" effect. Do not use with homeopathic treatments, because mint can neutralize the effect of the remedies. Keep out of the reach of children.
