Organic Ravintsara Essential Oil

Organic Ravintsara essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the Ravintsara (meaning “good leaf”) tree. It is a very powerful antiviral, and its action has been demonstrated by scientific studies against influenza, Epstein-Barr, herpes simplex, and herpes zoster. It also has anti-infective, expectorant, and neurotonic properties. Ravintsara essential oil is useful for influenza, bronchitis, nasopharyngitis, sinusitis, and colds but also to counter insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, and nervous exhaustion.

Studies conducted a few years ago have shown that Ravintsara essential oil is one of the most powerful natural anti-virals known. It can be used externally for rubbing and massaging on chest, soles of feet, and spine. For inhalations, add 5 drops in hot water. For rinsing, add 4 drops in a glass of water, 2 or 3 times per day. Use diluted, topically on skin, in the presence of viral infections. Can also be used in essence diffusers.
