Organic Patchouly Essential Oil

Organic patchouly essential oil is extracted from the dried leaves of the plant through steam distillation. It has a sweet and intense fragrance. This essential oil is widely used in aromatherapy especially, thanks to the antidepressant and anxiolytic effects it seems to have. In fact, it seems to exert a stimulating action, inducing the production of endorphins, hormones responsible for well-being and, therefore, it is beneficial for anxiety and stress.

Patchouly  is also considered an aphrodisiac capable of increasing libido, as well as promoting concentration and energy. This oil can help with water retention and cellulite and stress-induced headaches, thanks to its astringent action on the circulatory system. Mixed with massage oil, it works to repair skin tissue, counteracting the formation of stretch marks and wrinkles, and it is useful for dry, tired skin and in disorders such as dermatitis, acne, and cracks.

Organic patchouli essential oil, like the entire line of Sapone di un Tempo essential oils, can be mixed with other oils, for a more specific result or for specific problems.
